MYKIDS® version 17 runs on Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022.

If the Windows Profile through which you are installing MYKIDS has "Administrator" privileges (that's usually the case with Windows PCs), please proceed with the instructions provided below. If the Windows Profile has limited privileges and you cannot change them to full "Administrator" privileges, please contact us and we will provide you with the appropriate installation file.

To download the MYKIDS® Management Software, click on the download button. If you are using Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer, when prompted, select the Save As option to save the mykids17_setup.zip file to the desired location on your system. Your desktop is usually the preferred location. If you are using Firefox or Google Chrome, please follow their respective download process.

Once the download is finished, go to the folder where you saved the file and double-click on it. A folder will open and you will see a file called mykids17_setup.exe. Double-clicking on this file will start the installation. It is recommended that you accept all of the defaults during the installation process and you should ensure that the program installs to a local drive such as c:\mykids17.

The installation process will automatically create an icon on your desktop through which you can start the MYKIDS® software. The mykids17_setup.exe file can be deleted after the installation is finished.
